In light of recent events in this country, I really don’t have much to say – I’m still processing. The ladies at Mason-Dixon Knitting put up a really good article today with a number of well-chosen resources for those of us suffering with our white privilege. We must learn how to actually have a positive effect on how Americans treat each other – and then do it.
I purposefully avoid political comment here, but today I must side-step that a bit and encourage you to break your cocoon and face the world as it is. Go read Ann & Kay’s post here – then act.

I agree, I don’t even know where to start if I was to post about the mess we have in America right now. There is so much wrong with everything that is overwhelming. All I know is it can’t go on if humanity is to survive. We have a lunatic in the White House hell bent on destroying everything America stands for and the purpose of it is completely unclear. I also feel I don’t have the right to say anything because of my more than privileged life. I’m frightened but not for my life, for humanity.
